I am an overwhelmingly loved child of God, an extremely blessed wife, a mommy of four wonderfully made children, a thankful woman surrounded by many friendships that have made my heart full. God is good... ALL the time.

My favorite crafty blogs...

Erin Wilson from www.caroselloblog.com has one of my favorite blogs.  She is so inspiring and so creative.  She has the cutest family and dresses so cute!!!!  Go check out her blog and you can find her adorable shop on there as well, so fun!

Elsie Larson from www.abeautifulmess.typepad.com is SO AMAZING!  I have known Elsie since elementary school and she has always inspired me to be more creative, to look outside the box and to create whatever my heart desires. :) I don't get to see her much but LOVE that I can keep up with her by looking at her fantastic blog/website.  God check her out and if you live in the Springfield area go see her adorable store on Commercial St. :)

And this is Rachel Denbow from www.smileandwave.typepad.com. She is so cute and has such a sweet family.  She is so inspiring, crafty and seems like such a sweet person!

Go check out these adorable women, I look at their blogs frequently!

Amazing!

I wanted to share pictures of this caterpillar we saw a few weeks ago.  It looks like a cartoon to me.  God is so amazing, the things he created and that we get to enjoy are endless.
Isn't this little guy the cutest?

When you touch his face this is what he does.  He does it to scare off other animals, it gives off a nasty smell.  It was so cool to see this one.

 LOVE butterflies!!!!
And this little one is so weird looking.  They get in a leaf and curl the leaf up so no one can see them.  So wonderful.
I love taking the kids here.  It is a little place they keep the caterpillars and butterflies safe and people can go enjoy them, at Nathaniel Green Park.

Field Trip to Nature Center and Peach Wave! :)

These pictures are a little older but I had forgotten to post them.  I think they are so cute.  On the last P.E. day this year we went to the Nature Center and then took the kids to Peach Wave for some yummy goodness. :)  It was Justin, my friend Angie and 8 kids.  I know we are crazy, right!  It was fun though!  I love these pictures of the little cuties!

I am turning 30 on July 1st.  WOW!  I remember when I thought 30 was SOOOO OLD! :)
I am starting to notice more wrinkles on my face, especially around my eyes, my body hurts, I have gray hair hiding all throughout my head, and I am a momma of a 7 year old!!!  WEIRD!
But age doesn't bother me.  It is weird and in some ways sad to age, just because time is going too
fast.  But most of all it is a beautiful thing.  I had a mom that hated aging, it stressed her out and at times made her feel depressed and emotional.  I think watching her made me realize how we need to enjoy it.  It's not like you can change it or slow it down anyway.  I love my life, I love what God has given me and my goal, as I am turning 30 is to remember how much JOY I have, to be thankful for my wrinkles (they are just like my daddy's and I think they are cute), to be thankful when my body hurts (that means I am still moving), to be thankful for my gray hair (I think it is beautiful), and to smile everyday.  I want to enjoy age and all the things that come with it. :)
I am excited about what God has planned for me and my sweet family.  I know He has great things planned for us, maybe not great as far as the world would see it but GREAT as far a God is concerned.  My prayer is that I can be the woman God has created me to be, the mom, wife, friend, daughter, sister, church member, nursery director that God desires for me to be.

Goals for my 30th year...
-Keep growing out my hair!  (I can put it in a ponytail now!)
-Stop biting my nails! (gross I know)

D.I.Y. Bag

I
I found this bag at a thrift store for $2.98 and it looked like it had never been used.  I was so excited because I knew I could change it up and it was the perfect size to carry books around.
I printed out some of my favorite pictures of my family on the iron on 'paper', ironed them to white felt and cut them out.
Also cut out a red heart to go in the middle.  Then sewed them all on.  A new bag that is perfectly cute now! :)
